Building a strong community requires time and effort, but it has been an extremely rewarding experience. Here is the #LocalMarana “Operating Manual”…
• Define the purpose of our community. What is the common goal or interest that brings people together? This will help attract people who are engaged in Marana and are consistently working to enhance and improve our incredible community.
• Engage with our members regularly. This done through regular meetups, online discussions, or other activities. The more active and involved the community is, the more likely people are to stay engaged and committed.
• Create a code of conduct and enforce it consistently. This will help ensure that everyone in the community feels safe and welcome, and it will also prevent toxic behavior that can harm the community.
• Provide value! This is executed by sharing knowledge and expertise, offering resources and support, and organizing events and activities that benefit Marana.
• Encourage participation and collaboration. LocalMarana members are encouraged to share their ideas, participate in discussions, and help each other out. This will help foster a sense of ownership and community among your members.
Overall, building a strong community requires patience, dedication, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment. By focusing on these key areas, Local Marana mission is to assist a thriving and supportive community… for all of its members!
